This competition called for the reconstruction of a former warehouse and the creation of a new building for high level apartments and retail on the ground floor. Our concept's originality lay in the fact that we wanted to renovate the warehouse without demolishing it or making major interventions inside, but by allowing for an optimal use of the existing building's floorspace, to create real 'lofts'.
